I'm not sure if the terminology is right, but I keep getting sound from the head-phones bleeding into the singing Mic track. Any suggestions for a fix? My guess is better headphones... if so...any suggestions for a set?

Yo BrahMB:

New headphones might help but I think you may have a different problema.

I noticed once or twice that my headphones would feedback if the vocalist turned her head sideways and got too close to the mic; this may be because of too much volume cranked up.

Since I've been using a mic preamp, the ART dual channel, I don't seem to have that problema any more. But, you might do all the music first and then add the vocal....this might also help.

PS A good set of phones is the Beyer 250. I have two sets in my studio and they are very good. [they run around 130 from Full Compass but call those 800 numbers; you may do even better."

Thanks for the "Heads up". I got to thinking the first tracks I recorded were fine, but I had turned up the volume. I was also recording keyboard and vocals the second time, so it looks like I will have to hold off on vocals 'til the other tracks are down.
