I recently did a recording with my housemate of a song we wrote together to try out my new mics (Rode NT5s and NT2a), as well as see how good I could get a quick recording to sound. I did pretty minimal engineering, just set up mics and went with it (no moving them around to the best spot or trying different preamp combinations) and tried to keep the mixing to what I know as well. Despite this, I ended up learning a lot of new tricks and I think the mix doesn't sound too bad. Let me know what you think!
