Mic and console for rap

Be careful man. You gotta be sure to buy a special "rap mic". Buy the wrong thing and you'll end up sounding like you're singing.

I've recorded rap with the wrong mic where whole words went missing.
 
Lol I think you'd be surprised how many main stream rappers record. But I'm still waiting to hear about your interface having a pre amp because if it has one you can just focus on a mic. What kind of interface is it? Do you have a model number?

any mic you buy will be perfectly suited to your needs...until you use it long enough to learn that it's not.
 
What tha fuck is an interface.. ; sorry i'm greek.. the only thing i got is sound card.. i need the thing where you put the mic and record.. in greece we call this thing console or mixer

I'm pretty sure Google works in Greece as well. :)
 
generally a consol or mixing desk or mixer what ever you want to call it is used for live recording unless it is usb compatible. an interface is something you can plug your mic into and then it gets plugged into the computer via usb or firewire. basically its a better sound card designed to record unlike the one in your computer. do a search on the forum for usb interface about a million threads will pop up.
