So I sold my Boss BR8, cuz I want to get into computer based recording.

My price range on sound cards is about $200, and I have an AMD based system, with a VIA KT133a chipset.

I'm looking at either the Audiophile, or the Mia from Echo.

Does anyone have any experience with the cards, and which one would be recommended?

Do to the fact I have to purchase 2 7200rpm drives (cuz I only have a 5400rpm single drive right now) I'm limited in price at the moment.
Thanks in advance,

Jeff

the ONLY advantage Mia has on the Audiophile is the 1/4" balanced inputs....the Audiophile has unbalanced RCA's......

thanks man.

I'm looking to hook up my little Behringer mixer, so that might be a benefit, to have the balanced 1/4" inputs.

I don't know where, but I heard that Echo products don't work so well with anything but Pentium chips.
