Hi guys,

I've been doing some recording with mics into a Mia Midi via a DMP3 preamp. I'm using the latest drivers for the Mia (6.08, I think).

Strangely, I can move the analogue input faders on the Mia's console up and down as much as I like, but the input levels don't change at all... Needless to say, this is a bit of a problem.

Anyone have any idea what might be going wrong/what I might be doing wrong??

i'm not familiar with the Mia MIDI...however I looked it up and all I could see was the PCI card. Does it come with multi track software or are you using something else?? If so...which one? Are you getting any level at all before you push the faders up? Or is it not even getting into the program.

Sounds funky. Never had that problem happen with mine...

Have you tried completely uninstalling the Mia drivers and console and re-installing them again??

I'm using Sonar 2.2. I am getting a level which I can use. I just can't adjust it, no matter where I put the faders.

i'm not familiar with sonar, but check to make sure you're adjusting the mic trim. a lot of programs' actual faders do not effect the input volume, you have to adjust the mic input trim. The faders will only adjust the monitoring volume.
