Does anyone know how to turn down the volume on the metronome on cubase le.

I'm sure its in the manual. In SX, you go into the transport menu, then adjust click track properties or something like that. Or just turn down the audtion bus. I'm assuming that it is similar, but I can't say for sure. Or try double clicking on the metronome area on the transport control. But to be sure, check your manual. :D

.......you could turn down the volume by moving the volume nob to the left in the metronome set up window. I'm assuming you know how to get to that window, since you turned it on. I'm kinda suprised you don't see the volume control.

There is no volume control that I can find for the metronome in Cubase LE. To adjust the metronome settings you go to Project--->Tempo Track

You can adjust the tempo, time signature.....but no volume control.

That's the tempo track, not the metronome. Yes, they are very closely related, but they are different. There are seperate settings for the metronome elsewhere.

Hello!
go to menu Transport > Metronome Setup and under the Audio Click section adjust the two Level Sliders (those are separate level controls for both the hi and lo-pitched beeps) :)

Thanks guys. So does anyone know why they have a "metronome" and a "tempo track" what does one do that the other doesn't do?

The metronome makes the noise to the beat of the tempo track. You can program the tempo track to change tempo and time signatures throughout the song. The metronome just beeps and follows the tempo track.
