Sorry, I don't know.
Hopefully someone else around here will be familiar with ableton.

well, there was no obvious "direct monitoring on or off" button in preferences so Ill play around with some of the stuff next time I have it setup.

Often it's a function of the interface. Take a look at the behringer PDF for your model.
IIRC they're quite good with their documentation.

ollie99, there's an Ableton forum right where you stand !
The law is clear on this.

Here's my trick for making a drummer able to hear the click.

1. Get some earbud headphones. Any kind will do, i like the skullcandy ones because they cancel sound pretty well.
2. Get some of those silly construction worker ear protectors that look like winter earmuffs. You can get them at most home repair stores and places that sell lumber, etc.
3. Wear the earbuds under those. The sound from the drums will be cancelled out a good amount. You wont need to hear the drums through the phones because those ear protectors won't cancel it all out, but enough to hear the click, so just monitor the click.
You'll look silly, but for around $20, they're the best noise cancelling headphones on the market :listeningmusic:

I already have some earbud headphones which I was actually using to record at the moment as my sennheiser HD 201's broke (my fault, nothing to do with the product) so when I get the headphones I want to buy would they be nearly as good as the construction worker things?
