Metric Halo Vs. Motu

I was talking to a sales guy at my local music store and he was telling me that Metric Halo just blows the doors off Motu in terms of pre-amps and all around sound quality.

Is this true?

that is the word on the streets (and forums) that the metric halo is better..but I own a motu 896 and got it for $180...so I cant complain at all. Look around for the best deal, and figure if the difference is really worth the price difference.

yes. I think metric halo is geared towards professionals, and motu is more "prosumer"
