Here is the fourth video of my cover song list in built
This cover is very special for me, it's the first time i use my "normal" voice to sing with some notes instead of growling all along. I'm working on my accent, that it's not perfect but i'm still working on it
For each videos you could download the full mix track by track and the full score on my facebook page here :

You really did that song justice. Yes, the accent is off a bit, but it still sounds good. Thumbs up :listeningmusic:

don't hesitate to tell me exactly which words i could sing a better accent ;)

I don't know the words to this song, so the accent thing wasn't very noticeable to me.

I think that when you get to the more "growly" voice, it's a bit too far, though, and it's hard to hear actual tone and pitch then. If you can try to make it a bit cleaner sound that would solve that problem. Also, when you are singing in your "normal" voice, can you try adding some depth/darkness to the sound while keeping it clear? It's not bad, but adding this will give it more impact, I think.

Well I thought the latter vocal part was nearly perfect, but like Morodiene mentioned, the vocals in the verses as a whole sound a bit too bright. I'm not sure exactly what it would take to remedy that. EQ may do the trick but you may need to re-perform with a bit deeper formants. Probably a bit of both. Don't get me wrong, the performance is rock solid, but adjusting this would be most in keeping with the Metallica style which I think that you are going for.

I, in contrast, have known and loved this song for quite a while.

Well it is sure that i am not James Hetfield, i doubt i could change my voice, or i simply do not know "how to", but I take care of your advises for a next song with clean voice ;) thanks
