Metal mix up for a listen ...Stretch your neck out!!

It's well recorded & played but the intro riff sounds VERY familiar.
Bass could use some definition.

If you dont mind me asking? where and how did you get your song hosted to get it in that Myspace standalone music player?
For the song...the vox are a little quite..thats all I can think of...
 
Sounds fine to me, except for the bit rate but that is just due to the myspace player... I wonder what bit rate they use 96k?
 
Just some details

Everything was tracked through behringer ada8000 Mic pre's.

Guitars were done with Peavey Ultra Plus and Marshall 1960 cab with celestion g12t-75 speakers and miced 2 tracks with Sm-57 and 2 tracks with senh e609.

Vox were done with beta 58

Bass direct

Drums were triggered and all sampled with drumagog after recording

I had to email Myspace to get a code to make Myspace page a band page!

Thanks everyone for the complements I'm my own worst critic and can nit pick out a million things i still don't like but i had to stop some were :D
 
I'm on crappy speakers at the moment so can't offer any mix comments. It's damn tight though, your drummer's right on it. Guitars sound real good too. You'd have to be happy with this
 
Haha, Death Metal. The only Metal sub-genre I listen to. Awesome tune on the song!

Maybe the vocals could be a little louder ?
