Dammit, Jim, Shut Up!
I'm writing this message per Lt. Bob's request. As some of you know, he was in the path of the hurricane that hit Louisiana this week. Well, the good news is that he's OK and suffered no loss of property, limb, sax or recording gear!
He did lose power for a while and has no internet for a while, so he asked me to tell all those that he is doing collaborations with that he will be working on them, but has no way to get in touch here for a bit--hopefully he will soon. He called me tonight ( cell phones are great) and we talked for a few minutes before I went to my gig and he said the storm was really pretty minor where he is. Most importantly, he and his family are fine.
I know this is not formally for the MP3 clinic, but since he's been such an avid participant and contributor, I'm sure no one minds that I post this here. I, along with many others I'm sure, are happy to hear the news.
