Nice work as always.

I don't think I'd ever heard Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) before this year, and then this year, I've heard it played on the radio several times, this cover, and the version that I'm in the backing band for.

That's really nice that you have a family that can do all that together! Merry Christmas!

You're a rich man Greg. Thanks. +1 on the tone thing!
Merry Christmas!

Thanks yall. Merry Christmas. :)

Thanks for the two-fer year. Always a great tradition. :) Nice job on the sax, Mrs. Gerg.

Happy holidays to you and yours.

Very cool! Merry Christmas!

Thanks guy. Merry Christmas. :)

I keep thinking "this is gonna be the last year" because the kids are getting older and more and more moody. Lol. I don't know how long threats and guilt-trips are gonna work. :laughings:

Just last week I was wondering which Xmas song you and the family would be doing this year.

Time for your children to start doing solo albums. :guitar:

It's like pulling teeth just to get them to learn one song a year. A whole album would be a nightmare.

So it goes.

Great work again this year as is every year.

It's not Christmas without the Greg family Christmas song. Thanks for sharing, that's a nice Christmas gift to us all.

Merry Christmas to you and the family Greg, may it be safe and joyous.

I loved this, man. Sounds awesome! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Great stuff as usual, Greg. Was the bickering at the end excerpts from genuine arguments you captured - sounds a little acted, but not sure?

nice as always mang!

mrs gerg is coming along on the sax ....... cool!

Sounds killer Greg!

Since no one's asked... lets get some tracking deets! Who played all the instruments? What'd you mic everything with? One of my favorite X-mas songs!

Thanks guys. The kids fighting was pieced together separately. I'm never fortunate enough to catch them in the act with a microphone. But this was based off of real events. The "stepping on my foot" incident was a real occurrence that just happened a little while back. A foot got stepped on, and for most people that's an obvious accident and no real harm is done, but for them it was a violent act of war. :laughings:

Thanks bud. She doesn't practice as much as she used to and she gets real nervous with a mic in front of her, but she powered through it in just a few takes. When sitting around by herself she plays very smoothly. It's like Kenny G up in here. Lol. When it's gotta fit in a song, that's not her comfort zone. But I think she did great.

Sounds killer Greg!

Thanks man. I played all the instruments except for the sax. That was the wife.

Mics:
Drums: Audix DP7 kit
Guitars & bass: SM57
Vocals, sax, and sleigh bells: AT2020

I was looking forward to this. Thank you too many.

Again, Greg holiday greatness! Thank you and have a great Christmas man. :D
