Memphis LP Knockoff

I just bought an old Memphis LP knockoff from someone at work, but can find very little about these guitars, and is wondering if anybody knows anything about them.

From what I've gathered, they were made back in the 70's, and discontinued during the whole Ibenez/gibson issue. Mine is a set neck, but it seems like they made bolt on versions in the 80's that were complete crap.

It's heavy as a brick and actually feels pretty nice. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about these guitars.
 
Towards the mid 80's, they were made by Samick and distributed through Kaman.

They were just cheap Korean guitars. What are you looking to find out?
 
I guess anything really. It's hard to find any information on them. And you can tell me it's a crappy guitar. I only payed $50 for it.
 
I've seen them for about the same price on fleabay and craigslist. If it does what you want it to, that's all that really matters! Good luck.
