Hello I just bought a computer and (since I know nothing about recording) was just wondering if 512 ddr is enough or should I get 1024? I am running win XP, omni studio and Live by Ableton. Thanks again!

To me it seems like that would be enough, but I imagine it all depends on what kind of software you will want to be running and what all you will be wanting to do with it.
But generally, I think what you have would be the standard memory for what most the computer applications would suggest.

512 is good. Get it here: http://www.crucial.com ... then if you need to go to 1024 someday you can get another matched stick and stand a very good chance of not having problems.
