Excellent song, SUPERCREEP!

Fantastic voice.
Great performance/tone of basically all instruments.

On intro, bass could sustain the notes...what happens is that when bass "stops" to play,ac guitar is a little "thin" to be alone (some talked about a pad, could be good too).In this first part I feel a lack of mid lo / mid frequencies on guitar (but vox could be benefit too)

"Part 2" seems pretty good,kick a bit loud.Killer piano!

"Part 4 " Stereo effect on guitar is not defined(pan) and/or instrument is too loud.Theres a kind of organ playing together? Vox is hidden.

Congrats again!

Really enjoyed this...vocals are fantastic and really stand out. I'm not qualified to nit something this good...just really dug it, great man!!!!!

Lots to discover at each listening.

Cool! That is always nice to hear. Thanks Tim.

The acoustics were recorded the same way, with the same mic, but we eq'd the 'plucked' part and left the strummed part as is (for now).

Yeah, we should probably take another stab or two at mixing the drums, and maybe trying to separate the instruments a little more as well.

Oh, yeah, this was my first 6-string bass recording. . . its going to take some more getting used to, but so far so good.

i dig it!

i like the intro, just like it is.

heavy part's good too!

don't know about the snare sound tho...
it almost sounds like the signal was too hot....

nice piano break.
great vocal performance...

really cool synthy pads under the last verse and chorus....
i guess it's a psuedo mellotron sound...
very cool.

great song!

Pretty cool song. Had a kind of cool 70's throwback "queen" kind of vibe to it. Also reminded me a little bit of that band spacehog. Pretty cool tune.

Hey! Nice tune.

Mix needs TLC from LPC. :D

Sonically, too much low energy is masking the vocal in this mix, which should be featured more prominently, and I'd probably apply a spatial effect to it ... for it sounds like it's coming dry off the board direct to track. Other things have air around them, just not the lead vox.

Once the lows are trimmed back a little, I'd rebalance the levels of the other instruments, as certain ones will pop forward afterwards. Main thing is get give the main element (the vocal) special sonic consideration. As is, it weaves in and out of the bed in overly dry fashion.

This is a great start w/ terrific performances on wonderful material -- but the mix has miles to go before it can rest.

:D

Best,

Kev-

Thanks, Kev. We're waiting on Teysha's tracks and then we'll give it a go.

Thanks everyone for the help. We sure need it.
