Killer vocals.:cool: Great song. My only suggestion would be the beginning: maybe a few pads under the guitar, special effects, etc. It needs something else in there to tell the listener to hold on, something else is coming soon.

I like the mix and the EQ. The pad under the guitars that I hear is an accordian. Know any players?

I like the intro - sorry David. Though a hummed counter melody'd be nice.
I don't think there's be much room with the bass tone & voice anyway.
A very Beatlesque chord sequence & melody in the intro.
Is that guitar play appeg's reversed?
After 3mins the vocal has trouble competing with all that's going on. You may need a harmony or double track to keep the head up.
The song? Hmmm - I download your work without even considering the options these days - the work is so good.
I would like to read the lyrics but I don't need the to say WOW!

Good song. Quite enjoyable.

I noticed some wierd distortion or something on the vocals in a few places, specifically 1:37 and 3:28.

I completely agree with you and don't know any players.

Teysha Blue plays the squeezebox, no?

Maybe I can dig up a decent sample.

I'll check for it; it's probably bleed from the speakers since I recorded this without headphones in the "control room". /shrugs/

Simply brilliant! I'd fix the hole where the rain gets in, but that's just me. The song is screaming for the string pad that comes in too late in the end.

Even the spinning Leslie speakers around 3: something could plug some of the holes, but I hear a nice FAT strings pad like "Low Attack" to fill the emptiness.

I get the feeling that I've just walked into a house and caught someone unawares practicing a great song that he will soon share with the band.

Share it with the orchestra, as well.:)

Very nice singing. If that's you, you have an excellent singing voice. Good performance too. I caught one vocal note bobble at around 3:28, but that's it. Nice song structure - lots of building and releasing of tension.

I noticed the mix overall seemed to lack presence. There's a shallow, but rather wide, dip around 4K or so.

The big kick in at 1:07 is cool. However I think the jump in volume is a little too much. The bass right there is maybe 3-4dbs too loud. Great tone on it, but it's too loud. You might also want to boost the beginning quiet section just a little.

Heard some background noise around 2:23.

I had a quick listen at work, on some laptopspeakers.

I dug the tune, specially the ending with those sweet lovely Mellotrons:D

The progression of the tune is just awsome, I was a bit worried that theune was gonna be a ambient drummerless tune.

And I`m glad it wasent, you and Incanus are one of my favorite rythm sections.
I love the sound of your drums, and Incanus has got some very nice expression to his bass.

thanks for sharing

great song!

Agreed that the intro can feel a little thin at times, needs something laying underneath.

I could also use a bit more "room" in the drums.

I loved the piano sound, maybe tinker with that at the start. Very powerful vocals, wish I could do that. All together an outstanding song and great mix.

Simply awesome! I love the beginning as is. Ending rocks too!

Nice tune...excellent vox man.....

I'm on phones, so take it for that, but sounds are good. Maybe you could try a bit of the outro key in the intro...might work, might not.

Enjoyable man...very nice job you guys. :D

Great job Supercreep and Incanus....love the writing and arranging on this one. The change ups are nice and dynamic really grows throughout the tune. Your new recording room sounds pretty good. :D

..I dug the tune..
+1

I love the sound of this. Very creative and expressive. Lots to discover at each listeining.

Wonderful intro with the guitar/bass thing going on. :) Wow.

Ac gtr tone at :44 seems pretty different than during the previous part. Condenser/dynamic mic switch... or my imagination? I like the strummed tone at :44 too but it's lacking, to me, in comparison.

At 1:50 the mix gets kind of murky in the lower mids. I'd like to hear more of the highs of the rhythm guitar and more clarity of the cymbals there.

2:26... there's that beautiful ac gtr tone again. Ahh, to short.

:D

Around 2:45 the mix seems murky again.

3:35 - Nice ending.

I've listened to this a bunch of times and want to come up with something clever or insightful, but cannot. I wouldn't change anything. Mix-wise I think this sounds the best of all of your offerings. Loads of dynamics, great balance and super clarity.

I absolutely love the ending.

I like it. Just about everything sounds fine to me. My only nit would be the snare when the drums come in. I'd like a tighter snare sound there. It's a good natural overall drum sound though. I love the rotary speaker part. Good job overall.
