+ whole boat load of others I haven't even looked at in a while
these are just the ones I use on a regular basis

AGK and 2 generic ones.

Im just starting into the home recording and scored an AKG D 3700 S for 25 bux at a local music store. My good freind who works there sold it to me. They are disscontinued and so i couldnt find a price on how much they really cost. Its a heavy mic too.

And I bought 2 mic stand packs from Musicians freind that came with 1 generic mic each. Havnt tried them out but I guess they might work for somthing.

2 x Neumann KM184 (acoustic guitar)
1 x Audio Technica AT4003 (Vox)

I have an amatuer project studio which I've recently decided to gear up and get serious about. Current mic list is as follows:

AT2020 X 2
AT2121 X 1
SM57 x 2
Blue Ball X 1

Planned Next Purchase:

CAD M179

Update
Gefell M300 Pair
AKG C426B Peter Drefahl Modded
Schoeps CMC62S pair
Gefell M930 Pair
Gefell M296 Pair
Beyer M130
Beyer M160
Neumann u87 pair
Sennheiser MKH 800 Pair in the cue

I confirm what JNorman Said...cheaper mics just dont cut it for classical recording, where fidelity is paramount and the Listeners are golden eared.
(well the Beyers are great, but most other cheaper mics Ive used dont work well)

Well, I suppose mics are like ingredients in cooking. They all have their individual characteristics and as such are picked for the particular need. here's what i'm using.

Rode NT1-A
Rode NT2-A
Rode K2 (traded a NT2000 for it)
Sennheiser e865
Sennheiser e614
Samson R21

I know it's heresy to say it but "I'm DONE"............

I think mine's changed a lot since my last update. I'm reducing the number of cheaper mics that I don't use or need that much, and replacing them with fewer higher quality pieces:

Soundelux U195
AEA R92
(2) Josephson C42
(2) Oktava MC-012
Audio-Technica 4040
Shure SM7
Audix D6
Audix i5

It's pretty sad, but I'm down to 10 mics now! :(
