I didn't know Webster offered Audio Production. Cool.
Bill Porter, Elvis' Producer, and old producer of Studio B in Nashville built the studios and program up. Top notch! :D

Edit: He retired last year though. I believe I'll have him as an adjunct professor for atleast one class. I'm excited.

Yeah, there ought to be a 12 step program for this. :D So, how do you like the Peluso CEMC6s compared to the AT-4051s and the Neumann KM184s? I've thought about getting a pair, but don't know if they would be significantly different than the AT-4051s and Josephson C-42s I already have.

1 - SM58
2 - AKG D9000
1 - AKG D790
1 - Blue Baby Bottle
1 - Groove Tubes GT55
1 - Groove Tubes GT66

My collection has not changed much since I last posted it:

AKG C4000B
AKG C418 (2)
AKG D112
Behringer ECM8000 (2)
Beyerdynamic MCE-90
Beyerdynamic M-422
EV RE-27
Rode Tube Classic (Original)
Sennheiser E604 (2)
Sennheiser MD421 (3)
Shure Beta 57
Shure Beta 87

My biggest change was switching over to the 421 from E604 for my tom mics. I actually lost an E604 in a live recording. It took a stick pretty hard.
I usually use the D112 for the kick in the studio, but sometimes I will use the RE-27. I bought the C418 many, many years ago as tom mics, but I found they worked better for my overheads.
Depending on the snare sound that I am going for I will use either the M-422 or the Beta 57; most times it is the Beta 57.
I prefer the MCE-90 for most of my vocals. But if it does not fit the voice, I will use one of the others. The AKG C4000B does well for intruments, but it seems too harsh for most vocals.

It wasn't on my wish list but, it was a great deal I couldn't pass up. I'm going to try it on kick and compare it to my Audix D6. Then guitar and bass cab... Anything else it might work well on?

I like the CEMC6's over the 4051's and the 184's on acoustic guitar. They are very real sounding to say the least. I have found the 184's to be on the bright side on acoustic. The 4051's are similar to the CEMC6's but I felt the Peluso's were a little warmer on acoustic. I haven't used any of the above mics as overheads so I can't give you my thoughts on that. I'd recommend a pair of CEMC6's for anyone who records acoustic guitars.

Many have come and gone. This is what I have now as far as I can remember. I have the live sound thing going and the studio.
