I know. lol
but my soundclick started working again so i edited it.
go listen :)

Nice mix overall. Check out the toms, they are really loud and dry. Also the voice tracks are a little dry. Also the timing is a little off sometimes.

Melodic?

...Melodic?...

...Right.:confused::D

The guitarsounds are a tad under a blanket, making things a bit mushy. Bass is inaudible. Drums are ok sounding, all panned in the center though. Ovarall levels not bad to me.

any adice on what i should do about giving the guitars an edge and any other adivce? thanks so much.
Also the reason the drums are panned in the center is because i recorded this on a 4 track.

its pretty sweet i think
i would personally turn up the guitars just a tad. but its a pretty dang good song
love the chest crushing breakdown man

Thanks alot.
its my friends band. That was a rough first mix. ive got alot better sounding one now. any other opinions or advice about it?

Cool drummer.

Not really my thing - but it I can hear all the instruments.

go listen to it now

the top track "latest parousia"

Not bad at all man. I hate all the bands nowadays that just try to be "grindcore" and do nothing but sound like absolute crap. That band, though, that's some techinical stuff. I'd consider it "mathcore melodic death metal," if you want to go that far haha.

I REALLY like their vocalist's voice. He's got a good scream both high and low and it wasn't like a lot of vocalists these days that get into a studio and either 1: can't scream for crap or 2: realize that they are a terrible vocalist. The drummer worked well with the guitarist, too. A tad off at times, but hey, it happens. Maybe try a little less toms; they seem kinda dry and loud. What'd you record the drums on? It sounded like nothing for the drums was stereo.

I recorded everything on a 4 track. so thats why teh drums are in the center. so yeah...
