Anyone heard of thes mic makers from Cheshire in the 40's and 50's.. I have a large diaphragm chrome monster mic that weighs a ton but can find no info anywhere on the company, beautiful looking mic and so heavy I had to get one of the engineers at work to make up a support bracket to be able to put it on a mic stand....

Never heard of 'em--but they sound interesting. You can't post links until after 5 posts, but if you stick around and make a few more posts, I'd love to see some pics of one of those mics!
