mbox stupid question

how does the mbox interact with the soundcard in a pc ( if it does at all) ? Does the soundcard have anything to do with quality when using a mbox and PT? the reason i ask is im planning on gettting an mbox but right now i have a audigy 2, will this affect anything once i get the mbox?

It shouldn't affect your Audigy at all.
It's basically a 2nd sound card, except it connects via USB, not PCI.
