Okay Im planning on getting either Mbox 2 factory bundle or digi002 (not sure if it comes with a bundle)...

Im a solo rap artist...not trying to make a huge studio, just something for me and my friends...

Which one would you go for if you were me and which one is better?Mbox 2 or digi002???

I plane on getting them on ebay so price doesnt matter cause I think it will be pretty cheap on there...

If you wouldnt get either of em...what would you get??

of those two choices and for a solo rap artist....there is no reason to get the 002. It has too many I/Os for what you need.
look at the M-Audio line up as well for cheaper interfaces.

I agree. The mBox1 was potentially limited even for rap artists, but the mBox2 now has MIDI and a upgrade path with the simultaneous 2channel SPDIF input.

uhh..

so would you say for me to go with mbox 2 factory bundle or none of the above?

Cause I know some big named cali artists that say mbox 2 is off the hook..but I just want to hear other peoples thoughts on em..

Go with the mbox2 with the factory bundle. You could go with an m-audio interface but toss in the price of Protools M-Powered, which is not included with the interface, and you'll end up paying more.

thanx

alright man thanx...any other advice on things I should get to go with my mbox 2? anything at all?

I got the akg c3000b and ath m-30 headphones...what am I missing?

Personally, I think you should try to find an original Mbox that has the Focusrite pre's in it. For whatever reason Digi stopped working with Focusrite and no longer put their pre's in their systems. A lot cheaper used on Ebay, and better pres... then for MIDI the MIDIsport Uno at $40 is a descent option. just my opinion
