Yes, that lost and dejected original version. It has just come through on a hunch in a big way on bass cab. SWR 4-10 rig, Jazz bass, round wounds, dead center on the cone a few inches back with the pad on, it's slightly scooped compared to everything I've ever got with an RE-20. What's cool is that it's doing clear and tight unlike the woolly' I generally get on the EV. And it's the first time I haven't needed the di to cover that end.
What the hell. :D

I also like it for micing bass amps, and am not the only one who does.
 
I mentioned this before, but it also does a great job, set on hypercardiod, on live upright bass applications.

Fantastic. I'm in a part time acoustic combo so I might get to check that out.
Add floor tom too.
