Linux Man...
I know a few other people on the board have this card. I just got one yesterday, and so far I have been rather disappointed. When I am doing just everyday things, like listening to mp3s etc, the sound skips if I try and do other things, like uncompress things, or open programs, when I just had a SoundBlaster in my box that NEVER happened. I hate it so much. Can anyone tell me if I am doing something wrong? I ahve tried both multimedia and 8/4 mode and had the same results. I am sure someone out there knows more than me about this, so any suggestions would be helpful..
i have a pII 300mhz, 64 mbram...and never had problems until i installed the new card.
