mathematical question - bpm - hz

a technical question if anybody could explain this to me, it'd be greatly appreciated.....

i am trying to sync the "hz" speed of my guitar trem effect with the "bpm" of my drums....

how do i sync the hz with the bpm?

hz is cycles per second. BPM is beats per minute. So your calculation is going to have a 60 in it.

So, if you want your tremelo at 60bpm, it's going to be 1hz. Just divide your BPM by 60 and you have your hz.

If that's too slow, you could multiply the hz by any multiple of 2 and it will still be in sync, just twice as fast for every increment of 2.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works anyway....
