Mastering with Adobe Audition

Can someone tell me which steps to take when mastering with Adobe Audition..eg Noise reduction and then...

Which version of Audition do you have?

Later versions have some fairly effective mastering tools but there's no single procedure I'd use every time--it depends on the mix.

However, what I can say is that Noise Reduction never figures in the mastering process. NR is purely a restoration tool and I only use it in emergencies--and always much earlier in the mix process than when I get to mastering.

I agree. In rare instances, I'll apply NR to an individual clip, but never to an entire mix.
