I just had an idea. I want to get better at my "mastering" skills, and that's quite difficult to do with my own music, so I thought it would be cool to get some music from you guys on here and try to master it myself, and then get critiques on how I did.
So if anybody has a song they want mastered or butchered, send it my way and I'll give it a shot.
Any songs sent for this should have no master bus compression or eq (or any effects for that matter) and not be clipping. Give any info on what sort of sound you're going for, with examples from other bands and stuff, and I'll go at it.
Again, no guarantees that I'll give you back something that is better than the original, and no guarantees that I'll do it fast. I just thought it would be fun and a good learning experience.
