Mastering Job.

This may be the wrong place to post this, and if it is, would a moderator please move it?

I know it may be alot to ask, but I have 7 (maybe 8) tracks that I would like to put together on a comercial quality CD. Could someone take some time and listen to them and let me know if theres anything obvious I can do to improve the mixes?

After that I'd like to get the disc mastered.. preferably by someone in here. Could someone give me a quote? I was hoping to spend no more than $300.

If the mixes suck though, I'd like someone to stop me before I spend the money..

Was it cool to post that?

Why don't you just post the tracks in the MP3 mixing clinic?
 
I didn't want to be that jerk that posts 8 tracks in the clinic..
It may have been a better place. I wanted the attention of some mastering engineers... I see that Massive Mastering has that $100 consultation, which may be what I'm looking for.
 
You could always post a couple songs that make up a good representation of the project...

Not that I'm trying to turn down business or anything... But it certainly a cool thing to get several opinions also.

(OT: The $100 is applied as a deposit if MM does the mastering job, BTW...)
