Mastering Help

OK so the band has got all the tracks layed down...now I have to master everything. its mostly acoustic stuff. Where do I even Start????

If you are asking "Where do I even start????" I would advise you to start saving money to pay a mastering engineer. Not trying to be an ass but it's really the best advice I could give you.

Are you sure you even know what mastering is? Seems to me all you have is

all the tracks layed down

You now need to MIX it. Then, you can worry about mastering.

What do you specifically need help with?

Basically move faders until you achieve the right balance you want, add a little eq and compression.
Thats the kind of answer which is appropriate for the question I think.
