massive static problem

I'm running Protools LE with an Mbox 2 on a Mac g4. I recently had to do a complete reinstall and now I get enormous static when I go into record mode. Also when playing back there is intermitent static "pops". HELP!
 
Sounds like a clocking problem. I forget how to fix that. I use the clock from my ADAT but if you don't use an ADAT you need to play with the clock setting in pro tools.

You should be able to fix this with a few clicks of the mouse.
