Optimus Prime
I have elephant grain tolex, (I know the tolex name is fender, but everyone referes to any amp covering as tolex)

I was wondering if baby oil worked?....or armor all?
I don't want to spend a lot for special stuff like juice.

You mean to clean it? A damp rag.

That makes sense. I kinda wanted to make it shiny though, try something different.

Lessee....

A Marshall amp. (check)

Baby oil. (check)

Oh yeah... Where'd I put Lulu's phone number? :D :D

Baby oil does work, even for OLD Tolex. Shouldn't worry too much about it.

Don't worry about your tolex...

Start working on your paradiddles and scales.

I would burn my guitar and amp if I had to practice scales.

I play what I feel like playing, and bend the strings whenever it feels good, and it feels good a lot.

I let this guy who's about 25 play my guitar yesterday and he ran through these scales and it was utterly boring.

I like to bend the steel and wring the neck til it bleeds.

OK you go polish your amp head. and put some turtle wax on your guitar.
But most importantly work on your songs, that's where it's at.

Damp cloth is all I bother with. Mind you armorall would be OK it being good for most things non fabric upholstery.
Tolex - I thought that was a tax on condoms!
