Does anybody have any feelings about these mics for recording unplugged acoustic guitar, any comparably priced mics for this purpose?? Thanks BJ

I'm not familiar with those, but I like the Marshall MXL603s on acoustic guitar.

I got the MXL (MCA) SP1 when I got started last year. It's cheap, usually sounds cheap but every now and then it does OK. We used it one night on an acoustic guitar and it sounded pretty darn good. Also had some luck as a drum overhead. The mic really is best used to hold down papers on my desk. Get the Studio Projects B1 for $79 and you'll be a lot happier.
