Hi All,
I am new to mic'n...I just bought my mic a few days ago...I have been recording for 4 years and been using Pod ,I made some ok recordings.
recorded with Xt
But as time go on I wanted to see what was all the fuss about mic'n cabs..
so I bought a Ampeg Vh 140 c and a Marshall MXL V69...This is what all the fuss was about..my sound is unreal...
Couple of ??'s
It looks like the head of my mic sits around 5inches away from the speakers.
is this to far??
Do I have to cut a hole in the cloth?
What is on Axis and Off Axis?
If my amp is in stereo and I only use 1 mic ,It seems I am only recording a mono signal and turning it into stereo..won't I get a deeper rich signal if I use another mic?
Thanks JoeyDahlia
