I've got an extra V67 that I picked up and don't really have a need for two. I've only had it out of the box once to test it. I've got the shockmount too, and I'll sell the mic with the shockmount for $100 plus shipping. How's that for a deal?

Even though I think my 2001p is a POS, I paid $200 for it when they first came out(and that was without a shockmount)so instead of selling it for that much of a loss, I'll just keep it as a reminder not to believe the hype in magazines!!Actually I'm going to try the mod myself sometime,maybe it will make the mic usable.

The mod I am refering to is the Scott Dorsey mod that has been discussed here before.It is in a backissue of Recording mag but I am unsure of the issue.I've been a subscriber for a while and my mags are in no specific order so I will have to search to find the right issue.I'm pretty sure it was this year though so that narrows it down.If I get a chance I will find the issue number and post it here.

I think that some other members have links to the mod and there is another mod also that you might be interested in.Maybe someone will post the links for you.
