hey im stuck in a bad situation im confused which amp will be better, im lookin for a half stack for 1000-1200 and want it to be all tube,

i came across the marshall AVT150 head, and the AT100 B-52 head, which would be better, or is there a head that for the same budget can be paired up with a good cab

for the AVT150 id use the cab in the package
for the AT-100 id get the cab loaded with 4 70W vintage 30s

or like i said is there a better half stack for the price thats all tube?

The marshall isn't all tube.

What style of music will you be playing through it? What guitar are you using?

the b-52 by far.

I'll tell you what, that is a juicy piece of gear right there. It really gives a good rectifier tone plus the cleans on it are pretty awesome. It also produces very good jcm2000 tones

im going to be using a vintage guild which is about 20-30 years old

im plannin for some real tone to be matched with its great sustain. im gonna be playin with tone that sounds like the common satriani music some petrucci

rad man thx, i heard about it being ear a JCM and thats what caught my attention in the first place, it has 6 6LJs too which caught my eye, im a big fan of 6Ljs

now which would sound better, a new custom tele or a 20+ year old guild with a single bridge humbucker? for all sorts of music?
