I have just returned to Coole Edit Pro (CEP) after many months of not using it and have forgotten how to set it up. When using the "Line In" on my Sound Blaster card, I can hear the sound from the speakers but CEP will not record it. What setting am I missing?
I've gone through the "settings" menu and set everything I could find to the Sound Blaster, set the device order to Sound Blaster to be first for everything and still no record.

Options/Device Order/Wave In/Wave Out; make sure your sound card is selected (in the right-hand "Use" column, and don't forget to designate "Use in EV" or you won't get any playback in Edit View.

Thanks, but....

Been there, done that. I finally went back to my old Sound Blaster sound card where I had the option of choosing the record source, ie "line in" and got it working.
