Linux Man...
Well, I have done a little bit with this before, but I am really starting to get into it now. I made a rough design of the TS-9 a while back, it looked crude, but sounded great. Now I am really getting into making the pedals and using real cases and true-bypass switches and all that jazz.
My first attempt at making a 'real' pedal is going to be a TS-808. I have missed one of these for quite some time, i could have gotten one a few years back for 80 bucks and I should have jumped on it, but instead I got a flanger. Stupid me. So yeah, I am making a TS-808. I can get all the parts for circutry (sp?) fairly easily. The hard part is finding a thing to put it in. I really want a nice case that I can stomp the hell out of and then open easily to change batteries. I love the cases the VooDoo Labs and MXR put their pedals in. I think they are made by a company called hammond and hammon or something. (not the organ company). If anyone knows the exact name of the brand please let me know. Or if anyone knows sites online that have nice cases. I am also looking for a source for true bypass stomp switches. I think they are double through double pole, but I am not sure. I can get them for like 18 bucks around here, but I have heard you can get them for as low as 12 on the net, I just don't know where. Anyway, this post is getting long and I doubt many will make it all the way through this, but if any of you have made pedals, please share your resources and knowledge, and of course share the war stories.
