Hi guys... I just started to record a couple of ideas with my brother...
This is my first attempt to record semi-serious drums...
I just put 3 mics on it and hit record (and add some compression)... Let me know what do you think... How can I improve the sound (besides bringing better drums to the studio)...
btw, excuse me for the VERRRY sloppy playing... I was just messing around.

I actually know nothing about recording drums and I can't play the drums either (I use occasional hand percussion and machines!). I took a listen anyway just out of interest and it does sound like it's been recorded in your bedroom or something.
BUT, there's something about that snare sound that I really like – it's just quite different to what you normally hear these days and that gives it a nice quality to me, I suppose. If you could get the other drums sorted out, but keep that snare sound, it could be interesting!
