Hello-
I want to capture some outdoor sound clips to use in my music. I figure the best way to go about this is with an omni condenser (I have only 1 of those- an ECM8000) through a minidisc recorder. Question is, is there a convenient way to make a portable phantom power supply? Five 9V's in series would provide 45V, which should be enough to power a mic like the ECM. Does anyone have any experience doing this?
