Has anyone ever made a capo?

I always wondered

(I can't find mine an i dont feel like driving to the music store.)

Half a clothes pin & something to brace it (rubber band, twine).

If you have one of those clamps that locks and slides on a bar with a trigger, you can use one of those. I have actually done that. So, if menards or lowes is closer than the music store, you could always try that....
