Major mic help

I just bought my new blue bluebird amp today. I opened up logic and plugged my mic cable into my m audio box and then that to the usb of my computer. Since I did this, it still shows the power on and the 48V light but it doesn't recognize it in logic. Any suggestions? I have no idea what happened but it isnt working =[. HELP!?
 
Ok so i restarted my computer and it does recognize it but my cheap dynamic mic works but the bluebird doesnt. Its switched to the 48V phantom power and nothing is still comming out of it
