Magix deluxe studio7..HELP!!

Hi there,

I have the above software and find it very user friendly. I have mixed imported audio and and layered several tracks.. my problem is, when in the future I want to record more than 1 thing at a time, at the moment it seems just to allow me to record one track at a time... how do I get round this?? (i.e a guitar on track 1 and at the same time, vocals on track 2)

Sorry if seem a bit thick.. probably am!!

I think it is great software too! Although, In order to do what you are talking about with only one set of inputs(L+R) you will have to pan. I assume you have a mixer, so mic up guitar or whatever to one channel and then mic your vocals on the second channel. You will have to pan one channel hard left and the other hard right. Now, inside the magix software, set up one track to record only the left input(I think it will have to be mono). Now set up a second track to record only the right inputs(mono as well I think). It might be more helpful for us to know what type of soundcard and mixer you have, stuff like that.
