Mackie CR1604 Problem

Hi Gang ~ I'm new to recording and know little to nothing. I have a home built CPU running Cubase SX3. I was given a Mackie CR1604 .. For the life of me I can't figure out how to connect my M-One reverb unit to it.

I'd like to hear the verb through my phones while recording.
I'd like the signal going into Cubase dry ..
I'd like play-back thru the Mains to have what's coming out of Cubase.

Are these conditions possible and how do I make it happen ?

Update

I got things to work kinda sort of .. my reverb unt is connected in the way that it is providing verb to my midi intruments in record mode. However when I tried to lay down a guitar track nothing was going to the CPU. Each channel has a Mute and when I depressed Mute, the signal recorded in Cubase.

So I have something funky patched somewhere because midi will record on Cubase but analog will not with Mute (up) ..
