huh???
I'm considering getting an Macbook 2.0 to use for location recording. I'll be using it with 2 Presonus Firepods. Are there any known issues with this combo?

MacBook 2.0? I'm assuming you mean one of the models that has FireWire (unlike the current MacBook), right?

I believe it's the first gen. macbook. With an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz processor.

I'm looking at one of the old ones with firewire. Model MA255LL/A. 2.0ghz, 2GB RAM, etc.

I see that the internal HDD is 5400 rpm, that shouldn't be a problem right? I'll be recording to an external HDD via firewire.

Would this thing be able to handle recording 16 tracks with my Firepods using Cubase Essential? I would think so.

Should be fine even recording to the internal drive.

In its sleep.
