hey how diferent is a macintosh than a pc when it comes to recording, do macs crash as easy as a pc? are they just plain better?every one recomends i buy a mac over a pc......

This is more of a religious question than a computer question, but since you've already got that perfectly adequate PC, buying another computer would be a step backward
unless you really had to have a dedicated audio platform.
