I have installed the soundcard with no problems and recorded through it with no problems yet ever since installation when i turn on my computer i get the message in DOS saying "Floppy diskette seek failure - press F1 to continue" and so i press F1 everytime i turn on my computer, and sure it runs fine, doing this everytime is beginning to annoy me. So is there anyway to stop this?

Do you have a floppy drive in your machine (I'm guessing not)? If not then tell the PC that in the BIOS and it won't get funny when one isn't detected.

Disable the floppy disk in the BIOS and you'll free up an IRQ for other purposes, too. That said, the boot order must also be wrong for you to get that message. Change it so that the order is the CD drive (or DVD or whatever) followed by your hard drive. Then disable the floppy drive. That way if some buggy installer ever turns it back on again, at least it won't try to boot from it. :D
