Ok, so I got my Tampa today and am trying to hook this all up. First I installed the drivers for the Delta 1010 and now have them installed and can hear by using the Delta soundcard.

I am trying to throw the Tampa in the mix and here is how my current chain goes:

Source >> Mic >> XLR Input (Tampa) >> Out of the tampa balanced Output 1/4" >> Channel 1 input (Delta) >> Out of the Delta Channel 1/2 >> Channel 3/4 in my Behringer mixer >> Out of the Phones jack to my MoreMes

I can not hear myself in the mic when I talk into it so I have something hooked up wrong. Eventually I will go out to my monitors but for now I just want to be able to get a signal and hear myself through the headphones.

Can anyone shed some light for this noob?

Thanks

What Daw program are you using?, for one, and do you have your software configured meaning track one is output channel one, it's not as easy as just hooking these peices up. you have to configure your outputs.

I am using Acid 6 Music Studio.

What software configured? Acid? or something else?

In the control panel, I have under SOUNDS tab the playback and voice recording set for Delta 1/2. Still nothing.

on a side note, I opened Acid and hit record...I can see the green signal happening when I talk in the mic...(not very strong but there all the same)...

Then when I play it back I can hear myslef talk (its VERY low and need to turn the headphone volume all the way up to hear it but its still there).

I changed the outs from the delta to be 3/4 instead of 1/2 and made the same changes in the control panel for playback to be in Delat 3/4.

The quality sounds crappy and very low so I kn ow I have somethign wrong...please help!
