hi, i own a pair of studiophile sp-5b and unfortunatelly one of the tweeters is not well functioning. The small membrane was pressed and pushed (not critically bad) inside the speaker.

Any idea if it is possible to pull out the membrane in a gentle way? Otherwise the high tones are kind of cut off and for mixing is not effective at all.

As silly as it might sound but I saw a guy pulling out the membrane with his hoover on the lowest aspirating power. It worked for him ... but I choose to be more cautious. )

Thx in advance for any help!!

The more gentle approach would be gentle wrapping your lips around the membrane and...

On a more serious but creative note... a Nerf dart might do it..

The hoover may be to much and will suck out all the good music :D
I like MOFO's idea of the suction cup of the nerf dart or similar approach. ;)

A piece of masking tape around your fingertip.

On the first attempt, put the tape across your jeans or shirt first -- It'll make it much less tacky. If that's not tacky enough, try it again with a "clean" piece.
