Has anybody heard about these? I just found out about them at www.m-audio.com. They're biamped and have an MSRP of only $399! I wanna know more about this before I commit myself to Tannoy Reveals!

That swivel-mounted tweeter gif makes me nervous! It's like it's looking at me!

Could be a viable set if they make it to the street around $299.

These guys may be serious contenders in the budget monitor genre (Tannoy PtotoJ,Yorkville YSM1).....whats even scarier is the claims of 30hz.....not that youd actually want a monitor doing that.....

but i will take a wild guess that they wont be in the same league with the Tannoy Reveals......

m-audio is expanding real quick no. I pray to God that they are good. I would not like a bad reputation in the speaker causing a bad reputation in their whole product line.

Can 5 inch woofers really go down to 30. I guess we'll just have to wait for the reviews.

I don't expect miracles on their first attempt, it'll probably be a usable monitor though.

Yea, the do have alot of products coming out of the woodwork these days.

What I need is the inverse to one of their new products. I need a 104 not a 410. I need more inputs. 4 outputs is more than I normally use now on my delta 44. Their new 1010lt looks promising. I wish they would post a price for it. I kinda like the breakout boxes for my current delta 44 but I can't really afford to by a 1010.

Now I'm starting to wish I didn't buy my pair of yorkville YSM-1i's.

Its that ported sub on the back that helps it get down to 30hz....ive always been told its very , very hard for a studio monitor to ACCURATELY reproduce frequencies down that low.....so if its not accurate, why have it......

Garak, dont be disappointed...the YSM1 is a fine monitor now, and still will be after thses Studiophiles come out......and I doubt theyll sound much better than the Yorkvilles......
