Do you guys think the sound quality of the preamps on the dmp3 is noticeably better than the ones on the m-audio firewire solo/410 (same preamps)? I like that the dmp3 has a phase inversion button for each channel which would come in handy for stereo recording-the solo does not. That feature alone is not worth the cost of the dmp3 however. I can work around that. But if I see an improvement in sound quality, that might convince me. I would connect to the firewire interface through the back unbalanced line in's. What do you think? I think the solo sounds pretty darn good as is. Thoughts?
